Haggis to Texas!!!

I suspect the answer will be no but here goes

A friend is going to visit her neice in Houston and wanted to take a Haggis as the neice is trying to organise a Burns Supper.
I know that she wouldnt be able to take a freshly caught haggis but what about a tinned one?

Oh, I don't know. I think she should try and take a "fresh" one through. Love to see their faces at Customs.

I would think they would be okay with the tinned haggis, they might get a fresh one into the US, my uncle took squared sausage over to LA when he was visisting relatives.
