As I was awake at 5am, I thought I'd have a quick check of flight prices and I've only gone and booked!!!! Everyone else in the house is asleep so naturally had to come and share my excitement on here. I got a really good miles and money fare - £477.85 for 6-16 November 2013. I had already provisionally booked BLT for those dates and hoped the flight prices were not astronomical. We paid £420 m+m for our November trip this year so I'm more than happy with that price. I've also pre-purchased the DVC premium AP for $399 as we're planning on an October trip in 2014.
At the moment this trip is going to be a solo one. I did my first solo last March and it was just for a week and I didn't feel it was long enough so I've opted for 10 nights this time. Of course, it may end up being a family holiday in the end if my parents decide they want to join me (I've once again kindly invited them to stay in my DVC
)
Only thing to decide now is food - last March I did the quick service dining plan and although I found it hard to use up all of the credits, I liked the ease of use and the peace of mind knowing that most of my food/ drinks were paid for. I've thought this time though about trying a grocery delivery service (garden grocer/ we go shop) and just eating meals as/ when. That would also give me the opportunity to eat at any TS restaurants I'd like and more chance to sample at the food and wine festival (something we found tricky to do with DDP a few years back). Anyway, that decision is a long way off and for now I'm just really excited to be booked!!
