After waiting until the last minute to try to get up enough courage to drive to WDW with my dd I cancelled our trip that was supposed to start today. It was a tough decision because I have heard that the park is not crowded and the weather is great. If only we could magically appear there or if we could find airfare less than a thousand dollars for two. Well, I rescheduled for June 26 - July 3. What a great code I got. I was able to get CBR for $3 less than my ASSp trip was going to be. 7 nights at CBR will be $734.00 where as my ASSp was $737.00. Wow. What luck. I hope everyone who is going this week has a magical trip. I'll be here in San Antonio playing local tourist around town and maybe drive to Corpus Christi one day for a day at the beach. I'll go change my countdown now if I can figure it out.

Sounds like you got a great rate at CBR. Corpus is gorgeous this time of year. Sorry you had to postpone your trip.

So sorry you had to cancel, we are from Corpus Christi and
leaving Tuesday. I found a good airfare deal on Southwest
Airlines. If you are still looking for your airfare for your summer
trip sign up for their email notices and I have seen airfare
a little below $200. roundtrip quite often.

Another trick for SW airlines is go to their vacation site and
price airfare with a hotel or with a rent car and you can get some
good deals that way. Thats how I managed our trip this time.
They didn't have any email specials for Orlando for Spring break
but pricing round trip air with a rent car, through their vacation
web site came out much better.

Its pouring rain here in Corpus today, hope the weather in
SA is better.

We were supposed to be there NOW, so I know how you feel. In our case, snow days zapped our four-day weekend. It was to be a short, budget "bonus" trip. We're still going in June, though.

Well, it was all cloudy here in SA but not pouring. I woke up this morning with withdrawls from WDW and want to try to look for some way to save the rest of the week and get there by Tuesday. I'm going to try Priceline.
