Just booked the same HHI for both the end of October and Thanksgiving!!

I have heard wonderful things about HHI for Thanksgiving and am very excited to have gotten it. I hope the weather is pretty enough in October to get at least a little pool or beach time.

You're going to LOVE HHI at Thanksgiving (See you there!). The resort offers a pre-cooked Thanksgiving dinner. They roast and deep-fry the turkeys outside on Thanksgiving morning and the smells are awesome!

Also, the resort is already decorated in its Christmas finery, so you get to see that also-

We went to HHI the 2nd week of Dec last year on our way back from the World. It was awesome, inexpensive and we are gonna do it again this year.

Towards the latter part of October, the resort sends a letter to everyone with reservations that week. I don't know the details because we always get the Thanksgiving dinner from Signe's Bakery.

We've had it for the last 3 years, so I guess that means we kinda like it. What's neat is that you get to pick 4 pieces of pie, they can be all different flavors, from about 14 choices. The dinner is supposed to be for two, but some families just buy multiple dinners. The only disappointment is that the turkey comes pre-cut, not a whole turkey. And yes, we'll be there, so we'll see ta there. Just look for the couple always wearing binocculars.
