Had to cancel 5/3/03 Magic

It was really a bummer, my little sister decided to get married that weekend!!! Oh well, I guess we'll try again in 2004. Any of the other cruises in Feb 2003(our only time to go), were WAY more than what we were paying for the May one. I'm sure we'll enjoy the Wonder on Nov3rd and look forward to cruising the Magic in the future.

If you can go any week in Feb. 2003, try the week of Feb. 22. We're booked on this cruise (our school break) and is was a lot cheaper than any other week in Feb. I checked for you on the DCL site and the rate for a family of 4 is only $320 more than your original date in May. Maybe worth looking into...rather than wait a whole other year!

Well, gee, that was sure rude of your sister to decide to get married THAT weekend! Something similar almost happened to us, but I don't think we would have cancelled our cruise as we were going to be celebrating our 25th wedding anniversary. DH's father was getting re-married and at first they were going to do it while we were gone (they knew the dates we would be gone way, way in advance) so we really didn't feel that we should HAVE to change our plans when they were already made. They finally decided to move the date up a week, and got married the day before we left! It's really hard, when you plan something so far in advance and start looking forward to it, then have to cancel. Maybe it'll RAIN on your sister's wedding day....would serve her right! Ha ha!!!
