Had to brag on my Kimmi

My dd, Kimmi, has been working at Keystone all winter at the daycare run by Vail Resorts. They are winding down for the season at the daycare, and had a staff party last night.

Kimmi won employee of the season! She got a plaque and a $50 gift certificate. I am so proud of her. This is a child who barely made it through high school due to not attending regularly. I really thought she had a terrible work ethic, but she just hated school. Every job she's had since graduation, she has exceeded all expectations.

Just wanted to brag!!!

Isn't it great how our kids can amaze us even at their age? Congrats to Kimmi - sounds like she's "coming into her own"!

Coming into her own is a good way to put it. She just hated school, but thrives when she working with children. I went to the pool with her and her daycare kids last summer. She was so awesome with them, and you could see how much she loved it. She has made me very proud.

Hurray for Kimmi! That is one hec of an accomplishment.. daycare is a tough job!!! Good Job TC!!! Being a mom is difficult.. your patience and love paid off!

Is that a new pic in your sig, tc? I haven't noticed it until now. Both of your girls are gorgeous!

BTW, never discount a kid who doesn't like school. If it weren't for art class, I doubt I would have ever gone to school, and I sure wouldn't have gone to college. Sometimes all it takes is finding one's niche, and it sounds as though Kimmi has found hers. Good for her!
