Had a tough time with ADR's this morning...

Today was my first day to make ADR's. I went online right at 6:00 AM and made sure my DVC reservation# was in "my reservations". Then I proceeded to try to make my dining reservations...

It was very frustrating. I would type in my dates and it would say that I needed to confirm my reservation to book for those dates. When I clicked on the link to do that, it would either tell me they couldn't find my reservation or it would say my reservation was already confirmed (this happened multiple times). Then it would begin this loop all over again, directing me to confirm my reservation, etc. Also, twice during the reservation process, there was some kind of server error and I got kicked out and had to sign in, try to get the system to recognize my resort reservation, and then start my ADR search all over again. :sad2:

But, in the end, it all worked out great. :banana: I got everything that I wanted, which surprised me for Thanksgiving week.

So, if you have trouble with the online system, don't give up! It worked for me eventually.
 
Thanks for the heads up! We arrive the day after Thanksgiving and right now I'm just a few days away from my 180 day mark and I'm gearing up.

Based on the problems you had, it sounds like you were having problems with your cookies in your browser. You might have your security settings too high and it was preventing the site from remembering you with a cookie. I booked this morning using the Google Chrome browser at the same time (6:00-6:30) and had no problems. It still could be something on their side, but it sounds like it was on your side. Just something you might want to check so you don't have the problem again.
 
I cannot book until Friday-anything you tried to get and couldn't?

That's what I thought too when I first had issues, so I went into my computer and adjusted the cookies settings, but it didn't help. :confused3 However, I'm not the most technologically savvy person, so maybe I did it incorrectly. Thanks for this suggestion, though. I will be sure to look into my security settings before I make my next ADR's. :)

I always book my ADRs online and have never had these problems before, so I don't know if the problem was on my end or not. I'm just happy that it all worked out in the end and I got everything I wanted (places & times). :thumbsup2
