Do you ever dream about Disney World?
I had a Disney dream last night. We were in a hotel for some reason, but we weren't on vacation at Disney I don't think. Anyway, I looked out the window across the parking lot and the Dumbo ride was there. I got excited and told my family that they had moved the Dumbo ride and were testing it at its new location. It was running (counterclockwise by the way). I grabbed my iPhone to take some photos so I could share them here.
As if that wasn't odd enough, it didn't really seem to stand out to me that:
1. The ride was no more than 100 yards from our window.
2. The ride was in the back of another hotel, right next to a swimming pool. It was basically in the parking lot.
In addition to the ride being there, they were also putting on a show with various dancers and all in costume. I assumed that would be a new show that was getting performed in Fantasyland when they opened the new area.
At some point, I found myself outside wanting to take better pictures but when I got there, they were towing away the Dumbo ride which was all folded up by then and I saw it pass out of view between two buildings. So I realized that they were just testing it there but that wasn't where it was going to be actually installed.
