I just need to vent about my bad day.
I had to quickly call at one of our other offices, so parked in a car park close by - but there were no spaces. I parked behind another car on double yellow lines so that I could quickly run in to the office, but as I pulled in, there was a lady and her son stood chatting to some other people, and they were both stood really close to the edge of the pavement, so I didn't pull right forward. They saw me then, so moved onto the pavement properly, and I pulled forward a bit more.
Anyway, as they finished their conversation, the lady turned to walk away, and walked straight onto the road into the front of my car, banging her leg on the front wing. She immediately started shouting at me because I think she thought I had driven into her, but then she walked straight to her car and drove off. I ran into office to drop off a file, and then drove out of the car park, and saw her pulled over. I got out to see if she was alright, and she said her leg was hurting a bit - I explained that I didn't even think my car was moving when she stepped into the road, and that basically, she had walked into my car, not expecting it to be there....she seemed ok, but I really think she thought I had driven into her which I am sure that I didn't.
I'm just really upset - she was obviously upset, and I hate to think I upset her, but I really don't think I did anything wrong. It was just one of those things, but I can't stop thinking about it, and now I'm just panicking about I don't know what, which I think is also pre-wedding anxiety....I'm rambling now, sorry this is so long. I need to calm down!
