Had a bad time, some bad experiences to share

Apparently I got unlucky during this trip then. Thanks everyone for laughing at me. I thought you'd be a little sympathetic.

Well, apparently from your OP, everyone laughs at you all the time. Seriously? You might get sympathy if you had one or two things happen and they were believable.

First, the rule:

Firstly- I have been coming to these boards for years now but I lurk and never had the courage to post. After this past trip I felt the need to post
I am a 25 year old female.

1. Villain Bash was horrendous. Some adult male threw up on me because he drank too much and it got all over my new shoes and shirt that I had bought the day prior. It was disgusting. It was crazy busy and I had no where to walk. Some guy stole my spot in line when I walked away to clean myself up and wouldn't let me back in. I then went to go line up for the fireworks and the guy who got their after me put his kid on his shoulders during the fireworks and when I asked him nicely to move a bit to the right he sneered at me and told me to go "F" myself. I was there first and the guy had the audacity to not only stand in front of me but put his kid on his shoulders too.

2. During that Halloween Party, I was doing the trick or treating with my girlfriend and a teenage boy took candy out of my bag! I wanted to smack him! Then a Cast Member said my costume looked nice (I was dressed as a Cat) but the kid behind me started laughing and said I looked like a lion. I felt so embarrassed.

3. I slipped when exiting Splash Mountain and kids laughed at me.

4. I was scared during Haunted Mansion and the kids laughed at me because I was screaming.

5. A CM was getting yelled at so I stepped in to help out but the guest yelling at the CM turned to me and yelled right into my ear. It hurt so bad!

6. While riding the Disney buses, the men would not get up for ladies so I always had to. I wanted to make sure the older ladies get the seats since they are old. The busses took way too long to arrive and drive us back to the hotel.

7. Our keys to the kingdom cards stopped working at the turnstyles and it took ages to get them to clear it bc I have a male name and they thought I stole someone's card. I had to go back to the hotel to get ID in order to prove who I was. I wasted so many hours.

8. While waiting for the Pooh ride, a kid picked his nose and rubbed it on my arm. I wanted to throw up all over the place but kept my cool. The Mother witnessed it and did nothing but laugh. I wanted to smack her.

9. The rides kept breaking down and I got evacuated on Pirates and Space Mountain. We had to wear boots to be remove on Pirates and it took ages. We also got stuck on Tower Of Terror and Test Track. I lost my Key to Kingdom card during the Test Track stoppage, I took it out of my pocket and it flew up in the air and onto the track!

10. We had to wait 2 hours to eat at Be Our Guest Restaurant. When we finally got in, they forgot about us and it took another 30 minutes to get our food.

11. Mostly all the people speaking other languages were very PUSHY and demanding and never listened to the Cast members! They would always shove us out of the way and had to be first to do everything! I was waiting by the QS line to order food and they literally pushed by me to get ahead of me to order. It was mostly Spanish speaking people and it drove me up a wall. It wasn't just a few, was a TON OF PEOPLE. So rude. I usually do not judge but this was not a coincidence.

12. I had my toes painted Disney style and a creepy older man told me that my toes looked "delicious" and that he would "take care of them" if he was my boyfriend. Very creepy. He wouldn't stop looking at them and even tried to snap a picture but we walked away in time.

13. On the monorail my hand almost got stuck because the doors shut as I was entering. I was freaking out!

14. We saw Beauty and the Beast and Belle sounded terrible. She was nasally. It sounded like she was singing through her nose. Gaston was awesome though as were everyone else! Nemo is another fav of mine at AK, no complaints there.

I was looking forward to it but with all these things it made it hard to enjoy the time there.

I believe number 1 and 14, some of the others are questionable. OP, did nothing good/fun/magical happen?

To answer you:

4. I thought it was scary because I had never ridden it before. I was scared when we went backward because I thought things would pop out at me.
5. The CM didn't yell at me, the guest did! Please re-read what I wrote.
6. No men got up for any lady during my bus trips. I ended up having to be the one to give up my seat and I'm a lady myself.
7. I had no ID on me aside from the key to the kingdom card. My fingerprint didn't work either and they asked for ID. I had to go back to the hotel to get it.
8. This actually happened, despite your doubts. The Mother apparently thought it was cute. I don't think she spoke English either.
9. ToT and Test Track were stopped but Pirates we had to leave completely from.
10. It was for lunch. I never said dinner. I don't think you read my post.
11. Is true. No matter what you say to try to deny it. Other guests we encountered had similar opinions.
13. My hand almost got stuck but didn't, luckily! I pulled it in, in time.

To all those with the well wishes, thank you. We did enjoy our time but it was hard to enjoy ourselves with some of the bad experiences that happened.

OP-it makes it difficult for people to believe you because you chose your 1st post to be a laundry list of horrible things, some of which as a former CM I have a hard time believing, that supposedly happened to you. Not the best choice. You say you have lurked on the boards, so you know your audience. Why would you choose to introduce yourself in such an unpleasant way?


However, if these experiences really did happen to you, then I'm sorry. Never thought that many unpleasant things could happen in 1 vacation.

I witnessed the same thing during my recent trip. There were times where older women got on and nobody offered them a seat.

Why wouldn't you have your ID on you I can't sympathize with this one, you said you were 25 so I don't get it.

This one has me scratching my head. Why did you have to wear boots that had to be removed? What kind of boots were they and who made you wear them? Why did you take your KTTW card out while riding Test Track?

Honestly if you didn't want your toes to be noticed, why did you paint them that way? Ok, he didn't have to be so creepy but maybe he was a pedicurist.

I'm pretty sure the door would not have severed your hand. Disney probably doesn't want that kind of liability so there are most likely safety measures in place when something blocks the monorail doors. You have ridden in an elevator before right?

Maybe she has allergies. I didn't think Ariel sounded all that great when we saw her.

I'm not sure what you expected but you are going to encounter rude people everywhere you go. I think you need to try not to take things so personally, and maybe even learn to laugh at yourself and the things that happen to you, a little bit.
