Hacienda De San Angel Menu Items!

Disney Food Blog has news about some of the items that will be on the Hacienda De San Angel Menu!

It always sounds so good on paper (screen anyway). I'm getting a little bit optimistic.

According to current info (which I would guess may be subject to change) you can start making reservations in "July or August"

Well the sad fact is that Disney "americanizes" all their potentially interesting restaurants. Can't have the REAL spices and flavor of any ethnic food because it will be "too much" and will not appeal to enough people so they "dumb it down" and make it mild/bland.

Agreed. That's why I'm trying to keep my optimism in check. Hope springs eternal though I suppose.

I agree with you on that point. I love Americanized fake Mexican. I love real Mexican too, but I can live with fax Mexican very happily!

Authentic Mexican food varies by where you are in Mexico of course. Most of my comparison is to Tex-Mex, which is my favorite type. I love "Americanized" Tex-Mex, but I have a sneaking suspicion that won't be how they Americanize it.
