HA villas

I'm thinking a HA villa would make things a lot easier on my next trip. I already have regular reservations at BCV. Can I add a request for a HA villa? I'd hate to require one since it's not a deal breaker, just a senior citizen with a lot of mobility issues. And in case I can get one, does anyone have photos of an accessible studio?

I must say that some BCV HA with roll in showers have a button to press that opens the studio door. That is a great addition, but it’s not all of them.

When I book studios, I need the roll in shower because I cannot get into and stand in a bathtub to shower. This is not an issue at Polly, VGF ( which is why I hate the idea of them adding all those studios with tubs. I only have enough points there for studios so I will be always booking HA with roll in shower there, if they have them, if I cannot get into original building. ) and Riviera, but haven’t stayed in Riviera yet. I did once get CC studio with shower, but cancelled due to Covid fears, darn, would love to stay inside the Lodge.

In February at 7 months, I did get an HA roll in shower at CC, and am very much looking forward to that!!

I went to the DVC website after I saw this, some really good points and I Chatted with a CM. She checked availability of a HA studio at BCV, but at this point there is none. However, she was able to put me on the waitlist for one, and yet verified that I'm still reserved for a regular studio. My biggest concern, that my having a HA studio, when it's not a deal-breaker for me might take it from someone for whom it is a dealbreaker isn't so much a concern. If one becomes available at 6 weeks out or less, I don't think there'd be anyone who'd book it within 6 weeks (make sense?)
