I have never attended an event like this at Disney before, and am starting to second guess making a reservation for it. I was wondering if for the Frozen events specifically (or if someone can comment based on the SWW events, etc.) if I buy the ticket for the reserved Parade/Show/Fireworks if there is wheelchair seating available in those areas or is it only first come first served? If it is first come first served, if we are unable to get there early enough to secure a spot against the rope, will the member of our party who is in a wheelchair even be able to see the parade/stage shows?
Is there anything else I should know in relation to this situation?

Since the Frozen Summer Fun LIVE! has only been in place for less than a week, I haven't seen any reviews yet of the Premium Package and how accessible it is. The Premium Package gets you reserved access to the Processional, one Sing-a-Long and a Fireworks Dessert Party. I would think it's first-come, first-served among those with the reserved ticket -- not lumped with the general masses -- so presumably more likely to get an accessible "view."

But that's just my assumption, not based on specific experience of the event activities. It is my understanding that FP+ is not available for any of the special Frozen experiences.

Hopefully by my posting this will bump back up near the top so anyone who's had early experience this past weekend might respond.

Enjoy your vacation!

Attended the Feel the Force Package which is basically the same thing except no "show" during the day was included. We checked in at the same spot listed for Frozen event (and times) viewed the SWW parade that ended at the hat like listed for Frozen and enjoyed the dessert party and fireworks.

There will be a line to enter the roped off area, first come first serve. For parade there was a handicapped viewing area marked by masking tape. It was big enough for approximately 4 ECVs on the rope and maybe two rows of 3-4 behind that. There were only approximately 6 total the day we went. To the right of the area was a @ 3' wall because within that was a "stage" that had a lighting and camera man on it for projections. The parade comes from this direction. To the left of this area, looking towards stage, there was a taped off space for all the children to sit in. It was not full as many kids chose to stay with their families or be further down on the rope. If you do not wish to be in the HA area you can be anywhere on the rope except the children's area but it's not terribly long, so getting there early would be good.

Fireworks there was not designated parking area but they did have lower tables set up with signs on them they were Handicapped tables as they were the height for the WC/ECV. Because the views varied for fireworks, it was very much first come first serve. There were some ECVs that arrived very close to opening time (we had been in line an hour to enter) and they created a scene because they felt they should be let in before everyone else. They were asked to get in line with everyone else and ended up with a table since they were reserved (numbers probably based on how many attended in morning) for them, but if you want a very specific location within the area I suggest getting there early. It is not optimal viewing for fireworks but having the dessert party and breathing room was great.

I started a frozen trip report. The link is in my signature and also a Frozen tip thread http://disboards.com/showthread.php?t=3296555

The Premium Package is fully accessible.

The parade is the same set up as SWW. The package viewing area is taped off. Be sure to have them mark it on your reservation.

Are you able to transfer? The 1st 4 rows are reserved in the Premiere theater for the package. There are only a few spots for w/c up front, the remaining spots are in the back of the theater. But if you can transfer, you can be transported to the VIP rows then the w/c or ecv parked in the back of the theater.

The dessert has a few lower tables. A really nice couple let us share their table with them.

What are the seats like in the theater? She could maybe transfer, but only if it was a front row seat (she couldn't walk between rows) and only if the seats have backs to them. If we get there early (like the beginning of the return window for our show) do you think it would be a problem as far as seating goes?

Thanks for the replies!

There are some aisle seats where the one armrest lifts up for better ease of transferring.
