H&V, Sci-Fi or 50's PT?

hi all just what you all wanted to read, another DDP ADR thread, lol. so i've made reservations for the fantasmic package at Hollywood & Vine, but I've read many posts here saying the food's not so great? what would YOU do? would you take your chances at H&V or cancel the fantasmic package and make an ADR at Sci-Fi or 50's Prime Time? i've never eaten at any of these 3 places, so give me your opinions and preferences PLEASE! TIA!

The food at all three places is acceptable, but not the same quality as the food you get in Epcot or at the resort restaurants.

You probably have the best place booked, since it gives you priority seating for the show.

Sci-Fi has a great atmosphere and my kids just loved being able to eat in the cars. The food is good and certainly plentiful, but it isn't gourmet by any stretch of the imagination. Milkshakes were included on the DDP at this restaurant. I enjoyed the meal and I wouldn't hesitate to go back, but I think on my free dining trip I'm going to book the H&V Fantasmic instead just for something new.

50s PrimeTime gets similar reviews to Sci-Fi. I haven't eaten there, but I heard it's fun and that the food is good, but nothing to write home about. Supposedly the "theme" for this place is that the servers yell at you like your mom (no elbows on the table, no dessert until you eat your veggies, etc.). I even heard about one family where the server made the dad go stand in the corner.

thank you so much! the priority seating was my reason for hesitating to cancel-my DH thinks i'm nuts and i should stop worrying about it, lol, i think he's tired of my obsessive trip planning.

The only reason for going to H&V is for the FDP. Other wise I wouldn't go. I prefer Sci-fi by far. Even if it is not gourmet food. At least it is quiet(all the kids are watching the giant screen)....and you don't have to get up for your food. The hilarious waiter brings it over.
