H & V or Sci Fi lunch?

DH loves movies and Sci fi. DD 4 would like atmosphere but there are only 3 of us on in terms of seating I am afraid we won't get to face each other. Should we book Hollywood and vine instead? Last time I was there for dinner I felt like it was cafeteria food but is Sci Fi food that much better? Dd would like sofia and hollywood. Tia!

My 2 kids love Sci-Fi ages 5 &11. With 3 in your party you'll probably be in 2 rows of cars. 2 in one row and one behind. I think the food is a little better at Sci-fi vs. Hollywood and Vine.

At Sci Fi if sitting together (not in separate rows) is important, you can ask to sit in the back at a "Flying Saucer" table, but you'd miss the experience of dining in a car.

At both these restaurants the food is OK but the atmosphere at Sci Fi, and the characters at H&V, make the experience. If possible maybe do one for lunch and the other for dinner.

I'd pick SciFi for sure. Atmosphere is amazing, and the food is quite good in my opinion. For a party of 3, yes you'll be seated in two rows. Two in the front and one in the back. Personally I dont see the issue as long as either yourself of your husband sits with your son, one of you can sit alone right behind, or vice versa, the loner can sit in the front. For dinner i'd do as the pp suggested and maybe book H&V.
