H&V Character Change

Has anyone heard about a character change at the Hollywood & Vine Character Buffet? I thought I read something about one of them being replaced with Special Agent Oso? If so, does anyone have any idea as to when?
We are going in Sept 2011 and my DD LOVES Oso.

Oso and Handy Manny were there Dec 4. DS5 loved dancing with them. Breakfast was good too. I don't care for the lunch there...better food elsewhere in Hollywood Studios.

Manny joined the Character Breakfast in May 2010, Oso in October 2010. They replaced JoJo and Goliath.

I'm betting they replace the little einsteins characters at H&V. Little Einsteins is only on late night now, I think. (and I REALLY hope they include Perry!)

Characters are at breakfast and lunch, NOT dinner. We didn't care much for the food at dinner (2008) or lunch (2009) and the reviews dont' sound like it changed much... low quality buffet with limited selections... BUT, the breakfast was pretty good!

We timed our breakfast about an hour after getting into the park so we still had an hour in the morning to do some rides and get fast passes for later before the park got more crowded.

Another reason to do breakfast.... there are some fun places to eat lunch at Hollywood Studios. 50s Prime Time was fun and entertaining, the food was great, and the milkshakes are incredible. Sci-Fi Diner is also a very fun place to eat... although I really didn't like the ribs in 2009 (fatty like whispering canyon cafe)... but the Reuben sandwich, Onion Rings, flavored colas and shakes (but no where near as good as 50s Prime Time), and desserts were good! Fun to sit in a car and watch the old clips... (Request a car!).

We'd just have to worry about him disappearing for long stretches.

I had read that P&F were coming to WDW in the Spring so hopefully they'll be included in the H&V meal.

They have been popping up more frequently over the past several months. There are not any plans for P&F to join the H&V meal as that's a Playhouse Disney Character Meal, and they are not part of Playhouse Disney. The plans for P&F are to take over for the Power Rangers on the Streets of America.

I just saw Spring 2011. No specific dates.

That's right, they were going to be where the Power Rangers were.
