Hasn't this started yet? I thought I remembered it was starting in June? Have there been any threads on it yet? I'm having trouble searching it. I've booked it in Sept, but my drop it.

The character meal at MGM is scheduled to begin June 25 at Hollywood and Vine for breakfast and lunch. The characters will be JoJo and Goliath and June and Leo from Little Einsteins. We also have this booked for our Nov. trip but may cancel when reviews start coming in....

We also have it booked for November. We won't cancel it if it gets bad reviews. I find that sometimes things with bad reviews are some of my favorite things.

Little Einstein's are my DD's favorite so I can't wait to take her. I am not telling her about it though just in case WDW drops it before we get there.

I am excited to hear someones review though.

How were you able to book this? MY 180 days out is next week and I called today with some last minute questions.

One question I had was, "Can you tell me about the new character meal at MGM?" The CM said "No, we can't give any information out about it yet. Althought it's coming very soon".

Sounds like you need to call back and speak to a different CM!

I wont cancel that meal unless they changed the characters. If they say the food is yucky (which many say about dinner anyway) i am still going. My DS loves, loves, loves jo jo and he likes the others too but jo jo is his fav. I just cant wait to see the look on his face when he sees them. They are supposed to do a little show type things so it shoudl be nice.

When I made my ADR I just said, "I want to schedule lunch at H&V for 11-29 between 11am and 12pm. It is my understanding that by then there will be a character meal there." The CM said "Yes, the 'Play and Dine' (I think is what he called it) Anyway, I also asked about the menu and he read off to me some of the items on the buffet. I liked the selections so I told him to book it and he gave me an 11:40am reservation. That was all that was said. Sorry I don't have more information for you. The CM should let you make a reservation even if they don't/can't give any info. about a character meal being there that hasn't started yet. H&V would be open for service weather or not it was a character meal or not anyway. Hope this helps, I would definately call back and see if you can get an answer that satifies you. Good Luck!

Do you think there is yet another new meal coming, and he didn't want to "spill the beans"? I know we're still wishing and waiting for a Toy Story/Incredibles/some-kind-of-big-boy meal!
