H&V breakfast vs. lunch

I've got 2 Disney Junior loving preschoolers so I need to fit H&V into the rotation. My options are:

#1 PPO breakfast
Pros - Get breakfast out of the way without impacting touring. I *think* my kids will eat breakfast pretty well. Frees up my dinner options to head to DS for dinner.
Cons - I'm heavy on PPO breakfasts but either way I will need to be ready early since my other option is an AM EMH). QS lunch options aren't super great.

#2 Lunch (early-ish) on a morning EMH day
Pros - I've only got one other TS lunch planned.
Cons - Have to stop touring to get to reservation.

I would do a late breakfast/early lunch. The kids in my family are raring to go in the mornings and it's better for us to use those hours as touring time. Last year on our HS day we hit all the rides first thing, then ate at H&V, then took in the mellower attractions when everyone was full and energy was starting to lag.

I think the breakfast food is far better than the lunch offerings at H&V, but if you time a late breakfast perfectly, you should have access to both sides of the buffet. There's an overlap of maybe 20-30 minutes with breakfast foods on one side of the restaurant and lunch on the other.

We always tend to linger a while at H&V because they do a lot of dances and parades with the kids; the fun's not over once all 4 characters have visited your table.

We are doing a late breakfast (10:40) one day. We will get there early, hit the big ticket rides and take a break for bfast as crowds pick up.
