H&V Breakfast or 50's Prime Time Lunch?

We currently have an 11am 50's Prime Time lunch but I was just able to get an 8:10am H&V breakfast - we won't do both. Park opens at 9 (no EMH) I've been to 50's Prime Time before and was looking forward to it but H&V sounds enticing. Some info about us:

- DH & DD4's first trip to Disney World (we've been to Disneyland & Ca Adventure and have ridden TSM there)
- We already have FP+'s for TSM from 9-10am so being in the park isn't required but would be nice so we could ride TSM twice and get in line early for Toy Story characters (DD's favorite movie and toys)
- This would be our first character meal on the trip - we also have ADR's for CP, O'Hana and GG later in the trip
- We can't eat gluten and I've read 50's has an amazing gluten free offering (last time I went was in '99 before diagnosis) - H&V review are negative to mixed
- I gave up my Fantasmic dining package for later in the day when I got a FP+ but now the FP+ is worthless as no reserved seating so we probably will not go to Fantasmic, hence I'm looking for other things to make the day extra special
-DD does not know the Disney Jr characters at H&V although she'd probably like meeting characters and dancing
- We do have some possible other windows later in the trip where we could go to 50's prime time if we decide we want another 1/2 day at Hollywood Studios but 50's prime time reservations look pretty hard to find

Any advice would be very helpful. Many thanks in advance.
