Review H.I.E. Clermont location

Does anyone have info on the Holiday Inn Express "West of the Theme Parks" location? I am trying to find out first of all if it is nice, but also is it convenient to Disney. We will be moving to Animal Kingdom Lodge after two nights. It says that it is 6 miles. We live in a rural area so I can travel 6 miles in 10 minutes or less... any guess as to how long that 6 mile drive from Clermont would take? TIA

It's near Summer Bay and Liki Tiki Village. We stayed at Liki Tiki and it's probably 10 minutes to AK. Not a bad drive and if you take Sherberth Rd you'll come out beside AK. The hotel is fairly new so should be in good shape. Nice area.
It's in front of marker #38 the semi circle area with small lake.

Thank you so much for your reply and the map. That makes me feel much better. It is much cheaper than the other HIEs in the area and I was afraid that maybe it was older (although the pictures looked great) or in a bad area. I really appreciate your help.

Just wanted to let you know that we have stayed here twice. The grounds are beautiful, the breaksfast is amazing and we love the staff. You also get full access to the resort at Summer Bay when you stay at this site. They have putt-putt, two amazing pools with pool/snack bars, lake activities and much much more. You will not be disappointed. Travel time in heavy, summer traffic was only about 15-20 mins but make sure that you cut through Sherbeth!

Thank you "angry eyes". I did make reservations there. I wanted to be sure it was nice because the price was almost half of what we paid for a HIE in Lake Buena Vista. It seemed too good to be true. The amenities sound wonderful. We are looking forward to giving it a try. Do you think the staff will be able to give us directions to Sherbeth Rd?
