Gymboree, I got gymbucks but they have nothing.

I think I have 150 in gymbucks. I doubt I'll use them all tho. But you never know. LOL!
I like the fairy stuff, but the baby girl stuff is cuter. I do love the kid girl pink sandles. I'm sure DD will want those.

So I have a question... I belong to Gymbo rewards but I never got a card :rolleyes1, I really want to shop tomorrow (I have it off) but will I be able to if I don't have the card????

If you have a Gymbo rewards card you can shop on the 13th
I, too, have Gymbucks to spend. I also have the rewards card and the Gymbo Visa and normally get an email saying I can shop a day early. Didn't get it this time though. . . Did anyone else?

Gymbuck Redemption is now up online. They started it early tonight. Spent mine already...may need to look to ebay for more. Cute stuff! Happy shopping.

Can you shop in the store one day early, or only online? I don't have a physical card either.

You can shop in store early too. As long as you are signed up for rewards and give them your phone number at check out, you won't need your card.

We'll get the pink sandles too. DD loves those and wears a lot of pink, so those will go with many shades.

Desperatly seekin another GB code, I have been trying to be good lately and have not bought any gymbo lately, so I have only one GB to spend this go round but this line is way to cute for girls and I would love to have one more to use, if by some chance you are not using yours or are feeling generous I would love to be able to use them.
Thanks in advance for helping me continue my Gymbo addiction :flower3:

So I went in to the lion's den today!!!! :lmao:. I didn;t need a card, just punched in my phone number. :thumbsup2. They had 1 poor girl working there. She was as sweet as could be but some of the customers were being a PITA! I kindly whispered to her if I could check out the back room (as I know everyone there and they totally don't mind and she told be sure. All the other people were like , they probably thought I went in to go to the bathroom (boy, I sure took a loooooong time in there! :rotfl2:) I score tons of clearanced stuff for DD! 2 shirts, 4 pants 1 hair "pippie" and 1 puffy white fur lined vest all for next year! All I paid was $56.XX (forgot the change part) But I totally SCORED! :goodvibes

As a former Gymboree employee- I can say this: the back room is just a stock room. We aren't supossed to let anyone back there, however old employees, close friends, very regular customers, etc can take a peak at the stuff there isn't room for anymore (old lines). If a district manager, or other higher power is there then it's a def. no go:)

Most employees won't allow this (I have to be go only when I know a couple staff members are there who will do it), and someone has to be back there with you because of purses, etc.

The easiest thing is go in when it's slow, and ask about lines that aren't out. Most employees will be happy to brin gout bags of stuff for you to dig through, or grab things from a certain line for you:)

Thanks for the info. I was planning on going tomorrow to spend my first ever Gymbucks. My son is a huge pirate fan and he wants the whole pirate line.

I'm a very regular customer, so we go in the back room all of the time. Last week, we found some undies that were marked down to $1.25 each - can't beat that!!!

The back room in our store, sometimes has lots of hidden treasures that there just isn't room for on the floor.

Happy Gymbo shopping, Tiger :)

I'd rather shop online - I think the selection online is bigger than in the store. I ended up spending $130 (w/tax) after my gymbucks but got 8 tops (6 long sleeved for next year and 2 short sleeved for this summer), three pairs of shorts (same style different colors), 3 leggings and 2 pairs of jeans for next year and socks. All for my granddaughter who turned 2 this week. I have clothes in her closet at my house for this winter that she may not get to wear.

Seems the leggings fit great but the pants (jeans and cords) run big. I bought 18-24 months and they're big in the waist and too long so I bought size 2 jeans for next year. Anyone else have a problem with that?

Love their clothes though - great quality!

I find the opposite. The clothes for the most part run just right, but the leggings run really small, we always have to get at least one size bigger, sometimes two, or DD has major highwaters, and very tight. I know leggings are supposed to be somewaht tight, but not that tight...and she is skinny.

Yes, this exactly. I am a regular and they know me. They know I don't steal, they know I'm not gonna climb the ladder, etc. I have even offered to leave my purse up at the check out desk and they tell me no, they know me too well. The only things I'm interested in are the disco'd lines, the things that are on clearance. The catch is, sometimes when they are back there they aren't marked down yet. That is, they will ring up at the reduced price but the tag doesn't show it. It's kinda a catch 22, you get some good stuff, but, you have no idea how much it will be. If you don't know them as well as I do (the first step in recovery is to admit you have a problem :lmao:) I would suggest telling them what you are looking for (ex: size) and they will happily go in the back and get some for you to look through. :woohoo:

Is it wrong that the managers at the local stores welcome me by name when I go in? :confused3

Seriously, though, one time my DSis wanted presents for a SIL who was due any day, and the manager was kind enough to dig up some 6-12 and 12-18 from old lines for her. With no Gymbucks - just cheap prices - she got ~10 pieces for under $30. It was amazing! So it sure can't hurt to ask!

If I'm going through the clearance racks the managers/employees at one of our mall Gymbo's where I regularly shop will always offer to go in the back room and find the right size if I show them what I want, which they usually have even if it's not out on the floor. This takes time though and I can see them not being able to do this if it's crazy-busy. That back room has racks and racks of clothing! I have to say that this store has some of the best customer service I've found anywhere...ever! I sometimes order online if I want a piece from a line that's n/a instore or is online only but I try to support my local store whenever possible. I figure they should get the sale and boost their profit margin. I HAD to order online today (my vehicle was totalled last Wed- see the tpas board) but really missed getting my things from the Florida mall.---Kathy
