Does anyone else absolutely LOVE the new Gymboree lines?!?? I believe they are called Freshly Picked and Calypso. In this day and age of stores carrying Hoochie Clothes for 6 year olds, this spring line is so refreshing!! I just saw it online, I don't know if it is in the stores yet. Just adorable :cutie:

Yes, I love Freshly Picked.... such nice colors. I don't care for the baby boy line too much though. I'm a Gymbo a holic!

I saw it it looks so cute. I have a credit there I need to use.I have a couple outfits picked out. Does anyone know when the next time is we can use our gymbucks?

Wow, that stuff is cute!! I do love that they offer nice girl's clothes that aren't skin tight/revealing. I'm off to shop now..... :cutie:

Gymbuck redemption begins tomorrow and goes through the 20th, I believe. I have a little boy and I am not in love with the lines lately. I have 1 Gb and my Gymbo Visa Rebate to use. Wish I wanted something!!

I am going to have to go over to their web site. It is funny the way you refer to the Hoochie clothes for 6 yr. olds. I was just trying to explain this to someone at church this past weekend. I was saying that Gymbo is expensive, but they are the only place I can go and know for sure I can dress my little girl in "little girl" type clothing!! DH is going to be in for a surprise when I have to go shopping for her spring clothes!! Thank goodness their clothes are well made and will last two years if DD does not grow too fast!!

I am so bummed I didn't earn any Gymbucks this time!!! :confused3 I am a Gymboree addict for my girls for the very reason that was stated above-most other clothing manufacturers are making little girls look too grown up at such an early age! My 5 yr old DD was always tall for her age and trying to find "little girl" looking clothes for her starting at age 3 when she was wearing a size 5/6 for length was so tough! That's when I officially became a Gymbo addict!!!! They usually run a Friends and Family promo shortly after the Gymbucks redemption is over, so I'm hoping they do so and there are still some cute things left in my 2 girls sizes!!!

My 7 year old is now refusing to wear gymboree.

I'm so bad. I now have to give up my addiction.

I'm new to the whole Gymboree mania, but I've been sucked in. :hyper: I won't admit how much time I've spent lately searching Ebay and the Gymboree Yahoo groups.

I agree about the hoochie clothes - I love that the Gymboree lines are age appropriate.

I haven't figured out the whole Gymbucks thing, I need to go read on it.

Oh, I'm addicted. I have $50 in Gymbucks to use tomorrow and DD (pictured below) received $70 in Gymboree gift cards for this past Xmas. She just was tickled pink to get them. HA! Love the new lines myself.

I love gymboree now, with the tabbed jeans and such they actually fit her around the waist!!! And they hold up, I dont like the childrens place lately, havent bought from them for over a year. But I am a new gymboree addict!

I sell my kids' former gymboree clothes in order to get new ones in the next sizes. OIf course, you should see my room now. Since nursing school clinicals started this fall, haven't found time to post the clothes. So bags and boxes of them have taken over. It's actually really embarassing to see how many bags and boxes of 18-24 month gymboree clothes I had JUST FOR ONE CHILD!

I post them on the yahoo!groups, but have neglected even that lately. Plus too mnay people say they want the stuff but never pay.

Since you guys are "pros", are the socks worth the prices? I'm just curious, I've bought her a few matching ones during the sales but I'm always surprised to see the socks going for $5 a pair or something on Ebay.

Do you find in general the clothes run big or small? Or both? ;)

I have found the socks really hold up as well and usually buy them. The solid colors are especiallly long lasting.
I personally think gymboree sizes run a tad big but then again my girls are slims so I might be a bit off there.

I am SOOOO addicted to Gymbo for my little girl (for all the reasons stated earlier in the thread.)

To answer your question on the socks - I always buy matching socks at some points for the lines because they really are the ONLY socks that match perfectly - Gymbo does some very subtle shading and color changing so that no where else really matches. That said, I also always buy when everything is on sale and the socks are generally reduced to $1.99 or so. My gymbo always has bins and bins of socks, etc. The only time I ever bought socks off ebay (by themselves) was when I needed them to complete my son's outfit and my gymbo had NOTHING that matched.

Sizing - I think things tend to run big in the infant sizes, but maybe I just had small kids. My son is DEFINITELY a shrimp, and at 19 months the 12-18 clothes are FINALLY fitting him right, but he can still wear a lot of the 9-12 mo. clothes easily. My daughter is now three and is actually wearing her intended size (3 or 3T). It sort of evened out in the 2-3 yr stage.

Some closeout retailers USED to sell Gymbo closeouts (It was the "Ross" store near me). But, that dried up @ 18 months ago, I don't know if that is because Gymbo started opening their own factory outlets (NONE near me at all.)

Happy Gymbo-ing!

I think Gymboree runs true-to-size. Sometimes you will find a piece that runs small, or a bit big, though.

I'm not a fan of the new stuff. I don't know why! I'm buying from Prep Club & Everglades tonight at midnight because my store doesn't have the turtle dress in a 3T. :)

Okay...I had to go in....

I had to touch the fabric, admire the matching shoes, gaze longingly at accessories.

Wahaha...I miss my baby girl!!!

My shopping cart is filled and waiting for midnight for me to order with my Gymbucks :rotfl2: My DD has a long torso, so I pretty much have to order her tops online now in size 9 or 10.

I just bought the green cardigan, ivory top and striped leggings in Petit Fleur. I love the Sweetheart line too, but I need to wait til that goes on sale. I can still get our 7 yr old to wear some Gymbo stuff, but we have a 4 mth old who'll be wearing it for a long time.
