GV - Cash Price

Does anyone know how much the cash price is for a GV at SSR? Is it the same price at all the DVC resorts or is OKW cheaper, because the points are also cheaper.

I'm going with friends and our list keeps growing. Just want to know how much it'll cost if I need a GV.

discounts thru MS is only if the room discount is available for DVC members, if the discount is not available MS will check if a cash is available at rack rate.
i did get a quote for a GV at OKW for 998.00 a night for june. now that rate may not be available now, each day the room availablity changes so does the the cash discount/rack rate. SSR & OKW rooms are cheaper when you can get a discount rate compare to the other dvc resorts on a discount rate.
you will need a credit card, but your credit card will be charged in full at check in. you can get the dining plan without purchase of a base ticket.
you have up to 6 days to arrival to cancel without pentlies.

I'm going in January. I have a 2BR at SSR booked. Cash nights are $600+/night for the 2BR.
But now I think there's going to be 9 or 10 of us going, so I. was thinking of trying to get a GV. I don't have enough points, so need to make a cash res. for the weekend nights.

You can only reserve one villa for the member discounted cash price, if it is available.

Why not get an additional studio?

Deb and Bill - I wouldn't have 2 villas. If I could get the GV, I'd cancel the
2BR. If I can't get the GV, then I'll probably go with the studio.

A grand villa in January paying rack rate is $1135 before tax. That is this year's rate, so I suppose by then it will be even higher. OKW is the same price.
