Guys wearing pink in the US??

:rotfl2:

The sad thing is that we all know that it's totally true!

:lmao:

Completely true! Mind you, this coworker seen me topless at the Oregon Country Faire...so I tend to forget that there should still be some sense of decorum at work.

OK, why were you topless at a fair? Wait a minute ... forget it ... I already have a headache and I don't want this image burned in my brain for the rest of the day. :scared1:

The Oregon COUNTRY Faire is very different from a COUNTY Fair.

It's very hippy and organic. No corporate sponsors what-so-ever. All the booths are built into the forest. There are various stages with music, magicians, acrobats and such. The fair goers participate in the carnival like atmosphere. My naked tata's are always welcome.

In fact: It's happening this weekend and I cannot wait!!

Back on topic.....there will be plenty of men in pink! (and purple and green and yellow......)

That looks pretty entertaining, we don't have anything like it around here. We have some art festivals and such but no nudity ... not that it bothers me since there is no way in heck I would ever go topless!!! I'm about as shy, introverted and boring as they come - and I like it that way. ;)

Just like alot of people equate being gay with sex, people tend to equate nudity with sex too...It's not really about that. I am not particularly appealing when I'm naked. I have no illusions that I look "hot". It's all about comfort and being natural. I was born without clothes and feel the most at home that way.

I am alway grateful to visit places that allow me to be that way.

The faire doesn't allow full nudity as far as I know, and a lot of men and women use body paint to soften the effect.

I like to stay as anonymous as possible - I don't like to draw any attention to myself so clothes provide a way to hide. The odd part is that I can speak in front of a group and have no problems with that.

A woman I used to date is like you - she enjoyed going topless whenever she had the chance. It made for some interesting times ... specifically in jacuzzis and pools at hotels when she thought no one would be there!:rotfl:

I'm on the fence about that. I don't mind getting attention..but I prefer to be in a surrounding where my nudity doesn't stand out.

It seems that Pink is an ok color to wear, but it seems that (at least here in Atlanta) it is "How" a guy wears pink.

If the shirt is a polo (frat guys were pink polos alot) and/or a pink button down with a tie works and no one will say anything.

But the pink tu-tu with the fuschia ballet slippers . . . that'll get you talked about. ::yes::

Speaking of pink Tu-Tu there was a woman that showed up to the Beyonce concert in a Pink Tu-Tu and black tank top. The really strange part was, the fish nets she was wearing and the pink Converse High Tops.

The strange thing is that you went to a Beyonce concert! :rotfl:

I hate pink. It's too loud.

I should be the loud part of my wardrobe!

Im from a remote part of the world, Sweden. Here it is mostly straight guys and almost never gays that wear pink. Pink shirts that is.

Here in Canada a lot of men wear pink and I think it looks great! But there will always be be people who say it's a gay/girls color unfortunately. When we went to San Diego last year my 8 yr old son found a pink and brown striped golf shirt that he loved. When he wore it to school he got teased quite badly but told his "friends" he can wear whatever he wants and to mind their own business!:thumbsup2

Here on the east coast too. A few years ago, I would have said it was relegated to the pastel pink button down worn with a suit. My brother wears them to his law office and all the boys wear pink. But since the Pink T-Shirt Campaign (which was started by 2 high school boys to fight back against bullying) pink is a happening colour in any shade. It hasn't quite caught on with the older generations (both of my brothers wear only white t-shirts) but it probably will.
