Caroline/ lovingthemouse lost her husband last night, it was not expected even though he has been very ill.
I'm trying to get info now but would anyone be willing to make a card? I would like everyone to mail them to me and I will give them to her at CKC if she still decides to come or I will mail them to her.

In November and they had a trip planned to WDW.
Her and Roger had been through so much, and were looking forward to their retirement together.
I hope she decides to still come to CKC, I'm sure we can all lift her spirits a bit.

I can't even begin to imagine the loss of my DH, but I can imagine the grief she must be feeling. How long were they married do you know?

a long time, I think over 20 or 30 years. She used to teach in the next town over from me.
Caroline and Roger both taught in inner city schools, the toughest of the tough and they have seen their share of tragedy, but she just glowed when she came to Lisa's crop and told us about taking the kids on trips.
She wanted to retire to spend time with Roger because he's been sick for several years.
I think Lisa and I are going to go to the wake.

That is so sad! I'm not working this Monday (working Friday as going to see Dirty Dancing in London) - if I mail then will it reach you? (I don't know the CKC dates but letters take 7-10 wkg days)
