Curious if anyone else out there is in the position I am: a Dad traveling solo with younger DDs? How do you go to the bathroom when out? Not wanting to leave my DDs alone, take them into the men's room, or bring them into a family restroom with me, I have to time my restroom breaks carefully. I only use the restroom before we leave the condo/hotel or after we get back. Difficult to do while at a theme park for the day, and most likely not good for the body as well.

How do you guys (or gals) do it when traveling solo?

I have a daughter, so I don't have exactly the same issue. However, several times over my last few trips with my daughter, and even when solo, I have had a man ask if I wouldn't mind escorting their child to the restroom. I think unless you slap a diaper on them, its going to be impossible to go the whole day without them going. I think that if you find a woman with a child (maybe not a baby since likely they are going to change them) going in you could ask if they could escort your daughters?? I honestly don't think anyone would refuse you, but again...I personally wouldn't ask someone with a baby or toddler.

DH carries a cloth napkin with him, folded in his pocket, when he's alone with DD... wraps it over her eyes to bring her in to the men's room when a "family" style restroom is not available.

He only uses stalls, and tries to find larger ones, (handicapped) so he can turn around to give her privacy... or he puts her in the stall and stands outside it...

As a mom, I would def. not turn away someone who asked for help... i.e. helping in the bathroom or watching while you were using one...
