Guy trouble.

So there is this guy, let's say his name is..Jack. Jack, just about a month ago, told me he really liked me. I liked him a little, but he dips. Well, dipped. That bugs me more than you can imagine. We hung out with about fifteen people on friday, and he texted me asking if there I would ever give him a chance. I was being really honest with him, and I told him only if he stopped dipping. He didn't even know that I knew. He told me he stopped a few months ago. Just to make sure, I asked his sister. He is a triplet, and she is one of my best friends. She told me he hasn't dipped for about two-three months. He recently was really heart-broken by one of my really good friends. He told me he cried over her. I don't want to lead him on, but I don't want him to think I like him a lot. Because I really don't. I recently got over someone I've liked for about three-four years. We got in a fight and I was just done cause he wasn't who I thought he was. Anyways, since he really likes me, should I give him a chance?

Well you could always tell him you wanted to be friends first to see how it was. Then maybe you would actually find out your answer for yourself.

From what I understand, it's using/chewing/spitting chewing tobacco.

My brother does it and it makes me gag. He spits into old gatorade bottles and throws them out his car window


In your situation, Cassidy, I guess I'd start out with friends and "test" it out before you get too committed, especially if that's a breaking point for you.

Well you told him you'd give him a chance if he stopped dipping.. And he doesn't even do it. So, you've pretty much already lead him on and set yourself up for him to expect you to give him a chance.

But he did, that's the problem.

Well, yeah what I meant was he did do it, but doesn't now. And if he hasn't done it for quite sometime, don't you think he at least deserves a chance?
