Guy Fieri - Diners, Drive Ins and Dives

Anyone else a fan of his and the show?

Have they ever come to "your" local diner? Should they?

My DH loves watching the show. I bought him his book for Father's Day.

I do worry about it is Guy's cholesterol, though.

Why does he seem to be on every nite.
We love his show too, and I always wonder if he spits out the food, but we both think he eats what he chews.

He featured a few places in Norwalk Connecticut, not far from where I used to live. Guy also did a tour of New Jersey diners, but none of the ones I frequent were on the show.

In CT he should go to:

Lenny and Joe's FishTale
Paul's Famous Hamburgers (before they closed )
Captain's Catch
Sloppy Jose's

We love the show too and we have sought out a few of the restaurants that he has featured in New Orleans and the Gulf Coast. Most have been good but we went to one that was just awful!!Not sure how it made it on the show!

Thank you. I have heard of him (a guest on other shows) but didn't realize he was a winner. I didn't watch that year....

I always say to my dh that Guy's cholesterol must be through the roof! Sometimes, he takes like 4 or 5 bites instead of just a quick taste, and the food is always something like bacon wrapped cheese fried and topped with butter!

His sayings make me laugh, like "oh that's money" or "that's off the hook."

I always say to my dh that Guy's cholesterol must be through the roof! Sometimes, he takes like 4 or 5 bites instead of just a quick taste, and the food is always something like bacon wrapped cheese fried and topped with butter!

I figure he must eat salads and fruit when he's not filming.

There's no way he could eat that type of food all the time.

We happened (by pure chance) to be at the Red Arrow the night they were filming a few years back. It was the first and only time we've ever been there, and we didn't even know of the show at the time. It's probably how we began to watch. I've only seen a few minutes of the episode once.

My DH and I LOVE Guy!! We Tivo Triple D. The only complaint I have is do NOT watch this show when you're dieting!! And I try to watch it when I'm eating or right after I've eaten because it makes me SO hungry.

He's done a few places here in Phoenix, but none of them are close to me so I haven't been to any of them yet.
