Nutsy, they are everywhere. My h had one too. For the most part, it's just a fact of life.
But it's nice to be worried about.

Sorry if I came off wrong in my post. There are a few around here who have services for New Year's Eve.

Oh Chell, you didn't come off wrong at all!! I didn't know if you knew that a lot of Churches held special services on NYE or not. Our Church was having one that started at 6:00 pm with a potluck supper, then communion, then a service and then board games, etc.

I personally have never gone to the Service - although I do always attend Christmas Eve service.

The local yahoos didn't disappoint me - about 2 minutes after midnight they ripped loose with their guns....

I must live a very sheltered life. I've never heard of anyone doing anything like this on NYE. This is one time I think I'm glad I live in a boring place.
