Hi again- was wondering where I can get more details or read more trip reports about this event. It sounds pretty fun! I read some details on Micechat- but I need more details! Have any of you gone? What was your experience like? photos anyone heeh?

Since it's a MicheChat event, you may have more luck getting answers on their message boards. I don't remember seeing it discussed on here too much besides the complaints that Hojos closed the pool area for their meet up without warning.

also can't find the info- on my AP is Deluxe and is blocked on this day- I thought I read somewhere you can pay extra to unblock the day? Is that true? And how much? thanks. Guess I should have bought the darn premiums LOL.

oh wow they meet out by the pool? thought it would be at some conference room or something. I keep spamming the Mice Chat but keep getting the same info. So basically its just Disneyland and not DCA too? 1 persons report was way too confusing- talking about the hotels and DCA and food etc.... I don't know ... never done this before.

Yes with your AP in hand get a blockout day ticket $59 at the ticket booths. If you are doing this consider the extra % discounts and if you should just upgrade to a premium.

It's a micechat event. The info will be there. There's a link to it on the top rightish of their page (unless they moved it) which explains more. They changed it. It's a HUGE banner with bright colors, right when you go to micechat's homepage. Read the initial post on the page that link takes you to, and inside that post you'll see links to read more. No need to "spam" their boards as you say, just look around on their Disneyland forum to find the info you need.

The HoJo pool closure was for an evening thing, if I recall correctly. (clarifying...they closed it all day, but the event wasn't all day, I *THINK*) Having "chaperoned" a Rally a few years ago (I was taking a solo trip, and offered to be a super-secret watcher, which was FUN) I would bet that the meeting on the morning of the Rally will be in the esplanade or DTD. But it's likely that the specifics of WHAT park the Rally will involve might not come out until that day or shortly before.

I wish I could get down there for it; my son and I would be a fun team. But unless airfares go down a bit it's just not possible. We're already starting off needing blockout passes, then hotel, food, and you add on nasty airfare and we're sunk!

Found more. If you go to their list of specific forums, go all the way to the bottom for Community. THERE you will see "contests, meets, and events", and that's going to be the place to talk about the Rally.

I had never heard of the Gumball Rally before, but it sounds soooo fun!! I would love for my DH and I to do it with our DS10!!
