Helping a friend plan a WDW and gulf beach trip. Of course, the WDW is no problem, but I am far but an expert about the Gulf side of Florida. They are a family of 5 travelling in May and would like a condo with a kitchen that doesn't cost a fortune. Anyone out there that can help I would really appreciate it.

VRBO is a good option. We've used JC Resorts in the past as well. They have condos just south of Clearwater. We've stayed at the Sand Dollar (Indian Shores) and the Ram Sea (North Redington Beach). Both have 3 bedroom condos and overlook the Gulf, plus they have nice pools and a hot tub.

Each condo at these two resorts is individually owned, so some are nicer than others in terms of furnishings, updates, etc. VRBO is a good place to find these very same resorts, but you can see pictures of the unit you'll be renting and they oftentimes have feedback from people who have stayed in that particular unit.

Hope they enjoy their trip! We're staying at the Ram Sea (unit 209) in 5 weeks. I rented it through VRBO. Can't wait!
