Guitar Hero: Aerosmith

OMG, Corey is totally addicted to this tonight. We had it and the new Nintendo DS Guitar Hero games on pre-order from Red Octane and they arrived today. She just finished playing "Sweet Emotion" which always reminds me of RnR, so that's kind of cool.

Does anyone else here play Guitar Hero?

DS loves Guitar Hero, but we don't have it for the Wii yet. He has played it at my cousin's house on a different system. Shame you live so far away or I could send him over to play with Corey!

He spent the night with his gay "uncles" last weekend when I was with my mom. They have a Wii Fit and he wore them out playing with that! I told them that would happen, and they doubted me!

Love both GH and Rb!!!

Funny story (well at least I think so). My girlfriend said no to Rock band. She said it would be more junk in the living room. So last Friday I went out with my best friend. The two of us are always getting into trouble. We stumbled into a target that just happened to have Rock Band for Wii on the shelf (imagine that!). Well my BF said I should get it and so did I, so in the cart it went. The only problem ...how do I get it past the girlfriend? Well my BF had a plan, as he always does! We went to the card isle and picked out a "thinking of you " card. Now its not what you think! He then filled it out to me pretending to be the guy who followed me around college (who never believed I am gay). We then went back home to my house, left RB on the porch with the card and carried in the other bags giggling. She knew something was up. We asked her if she could carry a heavy box in that was sitting on the front porch. So she went out and we her "what is this!". She brings it in and then read the card. The card was so funny that she said she had to let us keep RB!!! The best part is that she actually likes it!

DBF is a little absent minded and lost his memory card and cables for the PS2. So the other day I went out and bought composite cables because I have an HDTV and a memory card(along with GTA IV for 360 and command and conquer 3 for the PC) I am working through Guitar hero II right now. I had played it before but had to start over because of the new memory card.

I love the game though. I can see how an Aerosmith version would be a lot of fun. Maybe that'll be my next purchase

I haven't tried any of the Guitar Hero or Rock Band games, but I bought a Wii Fit the other day and love it.

It's odd though... I've bought a Wii, PS3 (and have an Xbox) and I'm not really a gamer. I'm hoping that the Wii Fit will get me to play that more (I know I'll use the PS3 more as a blu-ray player).

I love Guitar Hero and Rock Band! They're awesome. When I went to the Eyecon convention in Orlando, they even had Guitar Hero tournaments, and believe me, they rocked! I just got my Aerosmith today, haven't even had a chance to play it.

DS really wanted the Aerosmith one and played it at a friends last night. He was disappointed in it. He loves Aerosmith, but he just wasn't thrilled with the game. I know he was going to buy it later in the summer, but I think he changed his mind after playing it awhile.

Yeah...not gonna lie...I have all of the Guitar Hero games and Rock Band....haha. I didn't get the Aerosmith one *** I wanted to read reviews on it first, but now I know it's awesome!

I'm a big Wii fan, but I don't quite get how Guitar Hero works. To be honest, it's not until there is this Aerosmith one that I've really been interested (I'm still way too busy with Mario Kart).

How does it work? I see the Guitar Hero bundles out there, but is this just an expansion disc or is it a new bundle, or both? If I don't have any Guitar Hero right now, and I just wanna play Aerosmith (for now), can I just buy the game and a Guitar accessory?

You can jump into the Guitar Hero craze at any time. All you need is a game and a guitar. The bundles are usually a pretty good deal. Since Corey has 3 guitars, this time, she only bought the game.

As to the Guitar Hero compatability, I'll have to check through my bloglines but I just read how one of the companies (not sure if it's the ones that make Guitar Hero or Rock Band) are pissing off the fans of the other by making the instruments in the next version NOT compatable. Seemed like a big controversy coming up.
