The whole show today was sad, but when Coop said to Buzz "I'm just like you"...... that was it, I cried like a baby.

That's what got me also.

I adore Buzz. I think he and Reva are two of the best actors on television!

I also think Beth has earned her pay this month. She has been fantastic.

I really cried at the end. when Buzz fell to the floor and the family was standing in the window watching- I will miss Coop. Maybe Rocky will come to visit - they have been mentioning him.

The end was horrible. My sister called right as the show went off, and I had to pull it together really quick to answer the phone. Tomorrow is going to be rough with Beth.

Hi! I don't think I've posted to this thread yet...I've been reading here and there, but as far as watching GL, I'm still getting caught up for January (I DVR every day and watch them as I have time in the evenings).

My main reason for posting is I wondered if any of you are American Idol fans and if so, do you think the contestant, Brent Keith, looks like a young "Josh Lewis"?

That's all I have....Sorry, I can't join in on the current discussion going on, hopefully I'll be caught up by the end of this week.

I don't know why this always bothers me, but I would rather see an actor grab a tissue and wipe their nose than see snot running down their face. Yuck! These scenes are supposed to wrap you up in all the emotion, but all I can think about is the gross-ness of it. I'm speaking of when Buzz was with Jenna in the cemetary, but there have been many other times when I wanted to scream, "Wipe your nose!" at the tv.

Trying not to sound insensitive here, does anyone know what's behind the weight gain for Kim Zimmer? She has never been this big before, is it a medical condition?

The voyages home continue on Guiding Light. The show is bringing back another fan-favorite character, soapcentral.com has learned. Look for Michelle Bauer to return to Springfield this spring, but don't look for Nancy St. Alban to reprise the role.


Guiding Light is preparing for another established character's return to the canvas later this year. soapcentral.com has learned that the long-running CBS soap is writing a story that will bring Michelle Bauer back to the canvas.


A casting call went out earlier this month for actress between the age of 28 and 30 for the role of Michelle Bauer. The show made no effort to disguise the role that was being cast with a false name. The casting call goes on to describe Michelle as "the good girl who has gone through many struggles."


"I can confirm that Michelle Bauer is coming home to Springfield," a Guiding Light spokesperson tells soapcentral.com. "Fans will see her on air in late April/early May."

I used to be a big fan from the 70's to the mid 90's and then stopped watching. I tuned back in to see Phillip and because I heard Mindy is coming back. I don't know if I can get used to the new format. It looks so cheap! Besides looking like it's filmed with a home video camera the makeup seems to be so bad. Granted I know the actors I know have gotten older, but most of them look so bad. Have you all gotten used to the look of it? I really want to see Mindy, so I am trying. Of course I also can't get over all the recasts from my days of watching. Mark Derwin will always be Mallet to me. I have a feeling this format will be the wave of the future because of the costs.

I LOVE Danny Santos! No one could reprise that role! I wonder if Rebecca Buding will return as Michelle. She recently left her role on All My Children.
