I have missed quite a few episodes lately (thanks, December, for the spoilers) and cannot figure out: is Cyrus good or bad? This thing with calling Vanessa seemed so strange.

I think Cyrus is in love with Harley, and was in love with Marina. I don't think he is evil, but he is a bad boy-an outlaw. He sees nothing wrong with bending the rules. He is playing Vanessa to get Harley a job. His motives are good, but his methods are bad!

I don't think I've posted this, but he is going to have a hard time dealing with Harley's feelings about Gus. He didn't realize how much she loved him (duh) and she is very much caught up in her grief. In the previews today, she called him the greatest love of her life (or something like that). I hate that the writers screwed them up so much.

I just saw today's (Monday') episode! Break out the tissues, ladies!! It is quite the tear jerker. Especially the scene with Harley and Gus!!!

I'm in the process of moving, and won't be online as much for a few months -we moved into a rental for a few months while our house is being built. I agreed not to have internet while we are there So I have to sneak to dh's office every night for some computer time!


SPOILERS FOR THE WEEK OF
MARCH 31ST

3/31: Gus fights for his life after his motorcycle accident. Will he survive?

3/31: Olivia gets some more bad news about her chances. What does she find out?

3/31: Olivia and her family learn that the heart they expected will not arrive. Can she afford to wait for another donor?

3/31: Dinah plans a surprise for Mallet. What does she do?

3/31: Dinah tells Mallet how she feels about him. How will he respond?

4/1: Harley and Natalia face a tough challenge together. Can they put aside their differences for Gus?

4/1: Dinah is pleased with the way things have gone to bring down Alan. Will she get caught?

4/1: Beth tries to console Alan. But can she help him?

4/2: Coop gets an important offer, but what does it mean for his future?

4/2: Vanessa catches Cyrus red handed trashing her room! How will she react? And will she tell Harley?

4/2: In the meantime, Harley attends to some unfinished business.

4/3: Marina blackmails a date out of Cyrus.

4/3: Harley and Natalia have a disagreement.

4/3: Olivia receives upsetting news from Reva. A nervous Reva tells Olivia her heart belonged to Gus.

4/4: Harley continues to spurn Cyrus; Ava's news shocks Bill.

Gus/Olivia/Natalia:
As Olivia clings to life, Gus fights for his.

Olivia is told that Gus' injuries are not as serious as they really are.

Before surgery, Olivia goes in to see Gus.

Gus tells her that he was rushing to save her - which makes her happy - and sad.

Harley and Natalia are together at Gus' bedside.

Gus suffered extensive head trauma and requires surgery.

Gus dies on the operating table - but lives on in another.

Rick asks Natalia if she is willing to donate Gus' organs - she reluctantly agrees to help Olivia.

Olivia is given Gus' heart, but does not know it.

When she wakes up, Ava tells Olivia that Gus is coming to see her.

When she learns the truth about her heart donor - from Reva - Olivia is devastated.

Olivia is torn - grateful to be alive - but distraught that Gus is gone.

Olivia will have to overcome feeling less than worthy of having Gus' heart.

Sam Spencer arrives to help his sister during this troubling time.

Harley:
As Gus has his accident, Harley and Cyrus are in bed together.

At Cedars, Gus apologizes to Harley for never finishing their home.

Harley tries to keep up her spirits and Gus' - but knows that it doesn't look good.

Harley finds it hard to let Gus go.

Harley decides that Gus deserves only the best send-off and plans a huge funeral. But how will Natalia and Olivia deal with Harley's grand plan?

Cyrus feels that Harley is pulling away from him after losing Gus.

Harley dons on her old wedding dress when it's time to plan Gus' funeral and breaks down.

As Olivia's life hangs in the balance, Natalia and Harley hold vigil at Gus' bedside.

Dinah vs Alan:
Dinah plots to buy the Spaulding Mansion. Does she really want it - or to keep Alan from having it?

Mallet learns from Dinah announces that she wants to get back together. How will he take the news?

Ava/Bill/Lizzie:
Ava has news for Bill.

Lizzie discovers they're auctioning off all the items in the Spaulding Mansion.

Vanessa/Cyrus:
Vanessa is shaken by another phone call. What is Cyrus up to?

Marina makes a deal with Cyrus.

Cyrus vandalizes Vanessa's room, and she catches him red-handed. Can he cover his tracks?

Reva/Jeffrey:
Reva learns Jeffrey and Olivia are married.

Rather than being upset, Reva finds it amusing that Jeffrey married Olivia.

I got home from work early and was able to watch it. I had not seen any of the scenes in the hospital after Gus died. What did you think?

I haven't seen today's yet. I was home, but bad weather knocked out the local channels. I am at dh's office to watch it now. I finally saw the scene in the hospital last night on dh's computer-when he and Harley tell each other that "you are the love of my life" I lost it! They so screwed up not having them get back together.

I thought they should have more extras in the church for the memorial service. Where were Reva, Josh, Billy, Vanessa, and other characters, that I thought would have been there? The place just looked a little sparse to me.

Week of April 7th and April 14th:

(Lynda Hirsch, SOD and SOW)

Everyone celebrates Gus' memory. Harley sees a vision of Gus. Cyrus deals with the funeral director after learning Harley's credit card was declined. For Harley's sake, Cyrus and Daisy pretend to get along. Cyrus wants in on Daisy's fake ID business. Daisy goes off on him. Tells him he'll never replace Gus. Makes no sense for Harley to pay for Gus's funeral!

Olivia doesn't want Gus' heart. She wants him. Natalia is angry with Olivia's attitude. Jeffrey seeks an annulment. According to CC in SOD when asked if Olivia has feelings for Jeffrey. CC said no. They have an "understanding." She doesn't think there's anything romantic at this point.

Lizzie tells Bill how much she needs him. They start to make love. Bill wants proof Ava's pregnant. Bill tries to tell Lizzie the truth but isn't able to. Bill makes Ava go into the ladies room to take a pregnancy test. In there, Ava sees a pregnant woman. She shows Bill "her" positive test.

Mallet's on the case, looking for Phillip. Dinah wants him to stay out of it. She enlists Remy's help to convince everyone Phillip left town. Reva figures out what Dinah's up to and wants in on bringing the Spaulding empire down. Dinah wants to keep it in the family. To get closer to "the enemy" Reva asks Alan for a job. (Alan has a job to offer?) He turns her down. She changes her mind and decides not to get involved. And agrees not to rat out Dinah.

Alan tranforms into a new man. good-he had gone too far too many times!

Daisy and Sam kiss. If Daisy was her "true" age (should be early 20s) this would be ok. Sam has to be older than Ava if he and Olivia have the same mother (didn't Olivia's mother die after finding out she was pregnant?) so is way to old for Daisy!

Ava has a request for Vanessa.

April 14 - Cyrus walks out on Harley.

April 15 - Cassie makes a startling confession to Josh.

Mel reads Gus's will, which sends Harley on a mission.

Ava schedules an appointment to make her lie a reality.

Ashlee and Coop take a major step in their relationship.

Dinah grows suspicious of Marina and Mallet.

Marina still wants Cyrus.

Daisy is in danger.
