My family and I spent a week at OKW in September and tried to get ahold of our guide. She never contacted us while we were there! Then we get back from our trip and call our guide and get her voice mail and we left a message.
And guess what it is Nov 19th and we still havent heard from her, is there a process to get a new Guide? Any help would be appreciated.

We wanted to get set up on the DVC club cruise and buy some additional points.

Giving the Guide the benefit of the doubt, she may have been out when you initially contacted her. Or perhaps even on extended leave, medical reasons, etc.

I am sure if you call the general DVC number and tell them you need to make an add on purchase, they will set you up with someone who is available.

BTW, the DVC member cruise for 2011 sold out on booking day - going on two months ago now. There are waitlists, but they started on booking day so you may or may not have a chance at getting on the 2011 cruise. The Guide will not be able to help you with the cruise, however.

Your Guide is merely a salesperson. They can sell you more points. Beyond that, they can't do much.

I would call and change your guide. Regardless of what they are they should be professional enough to return calls in a timely manner. Especially to a potential customer... Call the main number and tell them you want to change your guide and make sure you state you do not want to be connected to the old guide, you want a new one assigned. Good luck.

There's a good chance she might not even be working for DVC any longer...my guide had been retired for over a year and I was never contacted in any way. Definitely call and request a new guide!
