Guide's wand

I have read, tonz of people say there guide waived a wand on there 1st ressie to make it happen.
I just booked 3 nights in a 1 -bedroom for DH and I 10 yr anniv. in Nov.
We picked OKW, only other option was SSR.

.. Anyway. I was thinking of adding on for about 6 months now. 1/2 way between BC and BLT.. I CANNOT DECIDE. I was wondering if I bought points direct, if they would/could use a want to get this to either BLT, BC, or BWV?
Has anyone ever bought an direct add-on for the purpose of getting a ressie?

I have not done that and would say it only makes sense if you need more points for the future. I would not do it for a single reservation. It would make much more sense to book a cash stay and rent out your existing points. Or, waitlist for the location you wish to stay at.

If you have decided your family needs the points now and going forward then you need to tell your guide that a condition of the sale is to have the reservation you are looking for in Nov. I've read that it can happen but I don't think it's a given so double check before you sign.
