Had anybody done the guided tours lately? What did you think? Are they worth it and suitable for children? (mine are 13 and 9).

We go next Wednesday :cool1: and as we've been quite a few times now :rolleyes1 we always try to do something different - so thinking the tour would be a good idea to learn / see things we didn't know.

Can't wait :yay::cheer2:

Thanks for that, have just had a read, sounds brilliant, didn't realise you got a pin as well. Definitely going to do it now, can't wait to learn new things about our second home. :yay:

Thanks so much for asking this question... we are staying in a couple of weeks and i had decided to do a tour of Disneyland, now reading that i can't wait for the tour! :thumbsup2

We did the VIP tour in Feb and thought it was well worth it. In addition to the tour we also were taken backstage for Star Tours and saw how that all worked. You also get a special pin for each person in the party at the end of the tour.

Highly recommended.

We did both tours a few years ago and enjoyed them, especially the Studios one.

Anyone knows if they run those tours in other languages than English and French?

if you book it in advance enough, yes, I believe they do (the first person to book the tour on a specific day and time gets to choose the language the tour will be conducted in).

Reading the posts here has prompted me to consider this for the next visit which is tentatively pencilled in for end of November!

Do you know if this can be booked and paid for in advance? My in-laws are visiting next year and I'm wondering if they'd appreciate this as a Christmas present.

if you have a look on the VIP tour first page (the link I put on earlier in the thread) I think you can book in advance of going, but I don't think you can pay until you are there. I booked in advance at City Hall, but wasn't asked to pay until just before the tour started (again, at City Hall).
