I told you a few weeks back that the 2004 Unofficial Guide was out. Well... just went to Borders yesterday and saw the following:

2004 Frommers Guide
2004 Disney World for Couples

There was also a 3rd edition Everything Guide to DisneyWorld but I believe that has been out for awhile.

I hope this helps someone and I apologize again if this has already been posted.

I got the Frommers one, its OK has about MISSION:Space in it. It was cheaper than the others at 16.00!;)

I love looking at guidebooks before a trip to wdw but am I wrong in my impression that the Unofficial Guidebook does not really change very much from year to year?

Hi Daryl,

This year's Guide has 53 new pages of content, or about 7% of the total text, which we fit in by doing layout changes, deleting some of the less critical sections, and removing a lot of the cartoons. Too bad about the cartoons.

If you look at how much content is updated (e.g., hotel ratings, food and ticket prices, ride and restaurant reviews, touring plans and instructions), it's probably a third to half the book. The format remains consistent from year to year, though, which may contribute to the impression the book does, too.

Hope this helps. If you have any questions about the Guide, I'll be happy to try to answer them.

Sincerely,

Len
