Guide to making a pillowcase?

Andybody have any advice and guidance they can share on a first timer making a pillowcase? Do I just use an iron on and a blank/white pillowcase? We are leaving in a two weeks and am just finalzing all my projects! I have an awesome disign, now just need to get moving on it!

That was what I did, white pillowcase and iron on transfer. I had some pink "princess" ribbon that I put around the edge (it was for the Cinderella dinner at 1900 Park Fare). I brought a small piece of cardboard to put inside the pillowcase when the characters signed so the Sharpie wouldn't bleed thru. The girls loved it.

Ok, crazy question...I wasn't going to have the characters sign the pillowcase but leave them on the pillows in the room and say that Mickey and friends left them there for the kids...so will sleeping on them be feasible and comfortable? Or will it be too hard and scratchy?
