Guide Calling US

We are new DVC members as of Feb. and making our first trip home to SSR in 11 days (AND COUNTING).

Our guide called us today and stated he saw we will be coming on July 1st. He welcomed us home and said he would out of the office on vacation himself when we come. He would have liked to meet us and we can on a future trip. He asked if we have had any concerns about our membership or any questions. Also asked if we have any questions about our upcoming trip or SSR.

I am truly impressed. I am now really going to lose sleep dreaming about our trip. Magic is in the air.

Anyone else received a call from their guide like this?

We often used to get a message on our phone whilst we were at disney from our guide Deborah but she has been promoted recently and we have a new guide now so we will have to wait and see whether our new guide continues to do this.

No "happy" calls in almost 10 years................

Don't want a new "friend/guide", but he was difficult to reach even to do add-ons.

DVC Grammy and I must have the same guide. Even when I have added on he's been very difficult to track down. And F&W is way too far away.

I had no problems with our guide when we bought back in March, and our first DVC trip is in July as well, but I haven't heard a peep...

Our guide has been absolutely fabulous about contacting us back whenever we have called with questions. He usually calls or leaves a message when we are in Disney and we often get a chance to say hello if we can arrange busy schedules when there. We recently added AKV and he made the process effortless and quite enjoyable! That is probably why he was recently recognized in the DVC summer edition! Can't say enough good stuff about him!
