Guests stuck on Rip Ride Rocket

That sounds horrible! I hope they are all fine and that they get down soon.

Oh wow... stuck at the vertical! Worst place to be stopped on there I am sure.

Just heard that they have managed to evacuate all 10 riders...not sure how.

Beyond terrifying. That coaster is HIGH up!!! I'd have passed out.

Follow up everyone is off, only one person complained of neck pain.

wftv (local Orlando TV) says:

There was a glitch that caused the computers to go into safety mode which stopped the ride and trapped people for hours, Orlando Fire Rescue officials said.
The riders, three of them children, were in a vertical position on the ride but had been moved up so they could be rescued.
Officials said one person was being treated for neck pain.
Until officials can determine what went wrong, the ride will remain closed.

Took just about 2.5 hours to move it horizontal and safety move them, one transported to hospital as a precaution because of back pain.

Whoa - 2.5 hours sitting in a reclined position staring into the sky ... nap time (kidding, that would be scary and pretty awful).

That is scary. My husband took me to Universal for my 50th birthday. He loved the ride but I thought it was terrifying. You have about a minute to get on a moving platform, get in and make sure you are buckled in.
