Yikes, that is really unfortunate. They said a teenager was transported to the hospital for anxiety; I would definitely have similar problems if I was stuck in the air for two hours.

It is not open yet. I have not even seen it going up since then, so it does not look like it is ready to be tested yet.

Yes, but just because you're born there, doesn't make it less confined, or any less artificial. A human can be born in a small room, never experience the outside environment, yet still survive, but it would be a very boring, pathetic life, but hey, if they don't know anything else, what's the harm, right? Not trying to argue or be snarky, but it's something to think about...... Just some food for thought......

Sky Tower is now running again, at least for testing. I am not sure that it is open to the public again, but I did see it moving this morning.

It was not moving when I was there Thursday but it was for a short while Saturday. I do not think it was open.

It was open to guests for a few days but it looks like it might be closed again. The way it seems to be open and closed - I am not sure I would set my heart on it being open in April.

I don't think I would ride if it was open. Years ago we were stuck on the skyride at Busch Gardens for about an hour at 4pm. We had annual passes and noticed EVERY DAY it was stuck about that time. From their waterpark across the street we noticed it happening a couple days. Next trip a few months later we noticed that about daily late afternoon would stop again with passengers in all cars.
It amazed me they kept running it with almost daily problems.
For that reason I would not feel comfortable on the sky tower.
