Guests in TOTW lounge?

Hi! DH and I are new members (BLT) and making our first trip home in Feb

We just found out that our dear friend will be in WDW at the same time and wondered.....can we bring him to TOTW for Wishes as our guest? He will be staying elsewhere on property.

From the member website:

Due to anticipated high demand for this location, access is available only to Disney Vacation Club Members who are staying at Bay Lake Tower using their Membership (Vacation Points or cash), guests staying in the room with that Member, and guests who are staying in a room reserved by a DVC Member with Vacation Points. Access is limited and available on a first-come, first-served basis.

Thanks for the quick reply! (Where does one find that info? I checked in the members handbook thing but it is mostly legal-speak! And I tend not to find things on the dvc member site.....maybe I am just a bad searcher!)

iF you're not doing food plan, just add your guest to your room reservation (if you have room).

Then they'll have key, and then yes they can go with you to see FW.

My niece and nephew spent the night with us on our trip last week (they were listed on our reservation and had room keys). Their mom came and had dinner with us and we were allowed to have her come up with us. Now, the lounge wasn't overly crowded and the viewing area outside had hardly anyone on it. Plus, we stayed after the fireworks and had drinks, so hopefully we were contributing to TOTW staying open and available.

We were just there last week. Only one person in the party had to show a room key. We did take guests to the lounge. The server said they had changed it a few weeks ago so that guests could attend. I hope this helps. We went up there numerous times and LOVED it!!! The food it good and the view is awesome.
