DH has some friends that will be at WDW (off property) and want to come and visit us at Vero during our trip in January (probably on a Friday afternoon). It will be DH and me, they are 2 adults and 2 kids (5 and 8 or thereabouts?) What are the rules for pool and beach use for guests? (We are members at Vero and in an OVIR staying on points)

The pool is only for guests staying at VB. Use by others is not allowed. Of course, I've never seen any pool police there to enforce this.

All beaches in Florida are public. There are no restrictions on who can (or cannot) use the beach in front of VB. There is a gate to get onto the VB property from the beach, but this is for security of VB, not the beach.

Thanks much! Very helpful to know. DH doesn't want to share too much of our quiet time at Vero anyway (next stop is WDW and a family group of 14) so we can tell them they can play on the beach but not in the pool! It works for me!

I wouldn't worry about having your guests at the pool. We had a friend who lives nearby visit us and she spent the day at the pool with us.
