My brother and his family will be staying on our points. Will he be able to use the complimentary valet and pool hop as a member? Don't want him to get in trouble-but his little girl would love to check out the Boardwalk clown pool!

If they are not traveling with you, they will not be entitled to any DVC member benefits or discounts. That would include valet parking and pool hopping. They would need a blue member card.

My son goes down on my points and has always gotten the valet parking and pool hopping privledges. The DVC member designation is on the room key for these privledges.

They will not give the discounts for shopping and ticket media that members are allowed for that you need a membership card.

My last trip down my KTTW cards did not have DVC Member printed on them. We were members staying on our points, too.

So, I would not count on that. Even with the KTTW showing member, you are often asked for your Member Card as well. I know we have been asked in the past...

The same for our last two trips. No DVC member on our room key. We used our blue membership card for discounts and valet parking. Even then they sometimes charged us for valet parking and had to ask for it to be taken off our bill at the front desk.
