My neice is in Tampa for a year, so next time we're at WDW she'll come over to spend the day at WDW.

Can she stay the night? and do we have to let the resort know?
We're in a studio at BWV.
Also, what about parking, we'll have a rental car and she'll drive over.

thanks!

I can't help you with your questions but am interested in the answers. My sister lives in Tampa and I would like my college-aged niece to join us for the weekend on our trip this summer. She would be the 5th person in a one bedroom which MS said would be fine, we would just have to provide the air matress and linens. I'm wondering about the DP as we are staying the first five days on points and the weekend on cash. I'm hoping we can add her on to the DP for the weekend since technically we have two separate reservations (but linked). Have a great trip!

Here's to wonderful nieces!

My nephew is a college student at FIT and drove over to spend a day with us too. He gave our name at the gate and he got in with no problem. He ended up staying overnight too because we stayed up so late! We didn't notify the resort and we didn't have a problem. It was really nice to treat him to a day. We didn't have any problems so you should be okay too.

I have a friend who lives in Sebastian. She sometimes will come over to join us for a couple of days. I usually put her on the reservation and then ask for an additional parking pass. Somtimes I wait until I'm checking in to add her since she never knows what her schedule will be (she's in real estate). Never had any problems. Our only problem was 3 or 4 adults in a studio - a bit cramped. Thank goodness we are all good friends.

For day visitors, I usually let the guard shack know who's coming. Again, no problems.

Thanks, it's just 2 of us in a studio, so there's an extra bed & we won't be breaking any rules...

The front desk will give you another parking pass and issue a key card if needed. All you need to get into the resort is a photo driver's license to make it through the front gate.
