Guest Relation Fastpass help and then Extra Fastpasses?!?!

This morning my tickets weren't allowing me to book my fastpasses so I called guest relations for help.. While they were trying to work out my ticket issue the cast member was able to book all 6 days of my fastpasses over the phone. She told me once the internet cast member fixed the issue with my tickets I would receive an email and would be able to go back and modify my fastpasses for earlier times etc... Well, I received the email so checked MDE and sure enough it was fixed but was unable to modify my fastpasses she gave me. They seem to be almost like the "extra" fastpasses they might give you for an inconvience. That make sense? Anyway, I attempted to go ahead and try to make a new fastpass for one of my days thinking maybe it would override my current fastpass for that certain ride but instead gave me a 4th fastpass! After that happened i decided to try and make a 5th fastpass just to see what happened and it gave me another! I havent tried all days but it seems like it will give me my original 3 fastpass selections PLUS the 3 she was able to get me.
Anyone ever heard of this or had this happen to you? Im not complaining or trying to be greedy but if I can keep them then great! I am however worried that disney will realize this glitch and take some of my top tier fastpasses away... Do I need to worry about this? Any thoughts? Thanks for any input!
 
Not trying to be preachy, but even if you can technically keep them, I wouldn't do it on principal. Especially given the reports of reduced FP availability due to Covid. Why should you have twice as many advance FPs as anyone else when you were able to get the ones you wanted so haven't been inconvenienced in any way?

The whole point of Disney is pixie dust. He got a pixie dust moment in the middle of a horrible current era. Let him enjoy his pixie dust. This comment is kinda icky.

Pixie dust is when Disney chooses to give you something extra. It's usually either a gift to mark some special occasion, or compensation for when something goes wrong (e.g., I once got ONE bonus FP for my family when there was a technical problem with my son's MDE account and he wasn't being allowed into the park, which took me over 2 hours at guest relations with a crying 3-year old before they were able to figure out the problem let us in). Disney didn't choose to give OP any pixie dust--they told OP they would get this one set of FPs and it turned out OP found a technical loophole to get three more, every single day of their trip, at a time when it has been widely reported on these boards that FPs are being rationed and it is extremely hard for people with short stays to get them.

People have complained for years on these boards about others getting extra FPs through loopholes. There was the (now-closed) booking-a-resort-and-cancelling-it loophole, the (now-closed) booking a split stay with one night onsite and the rest offsite loophole, the unclear-whether-it-was-closed "rider swap loophole" (i.e. 4 adults who can only get 1 FP for FOP take advantage of rider swap rules with a small kid to get 3 extra FPs for the other adults). If I'm icky for pointing out that OP was taking extra FPs that Disney did not intend to give him due to what sounds like a loophole, then I'm okay with being icky. I kinda think using the FPs under those circumstances is icky, so we'll just have to agree to disagree.

So tired of everyone expecting pixie dust from Disney. Disney isn’t “pixie dust”- they can’t pixie dust everyone. Nobody should expect ( like it’s my birthday I deserve freebies, my friend got upgraded so why didn’t I). If something bad happens that is great- if just a kindness gesture that is great but your comment that the whole point of Disney is pixie dust 🤦‍♀️. You are entitled to your magical pixie dust view of Disney.

OP if they gave them to you and you feel right using the other 3 you do what you want. It was probably an error but enjoy your trip!

I'm sorry do you know for a fact the CM didn't know what they were doing and gave it to them on purpose knowing they would get extra fastpasses also? No? You don't?

I agree pixie dust entitlement is gross. I do not see that the case with this OP here.
 
Thank you everyone for responding! I can assume from some responses that my FPs will stay put and I won't have to worry about Disney clearing out my top tiers.
Just so we are clear, I DIDN'T ask for this, nor am I feeling "entitled" to it. It was not expected either as I thought I'd be able to change the ones she gave me, but I wasn't.
Did she know this? I have no clue. I'll go ahead and call it Pixie Dust or simply some extra Magic. We could all use some nowadays. Who knows if this trip will even happen. Ive made two flight and date changes already so far.
I am a planner and I will say if I can find a Test Track for earlier than 8pm (time she got me) then I very well may do it and grab that 4th FP.
Hope everyone is staying safe! Can't wait to be back in the most Magical Place on Earth. No other place id rather be after all of this is over.
