We visited the WDW resort over the Thanksgiving weekend. We have gone every year since our daughter was four (she's 15 now) and her must-see has always been the Osborne Family Lights. She was heart broken to find out they were going away and during our walk-through she started tearing up. Note: My daughter is not a sentimental person, but this really got to her. A very kind cast member pointed out a gentleman in a headset and said to talk to him. The cast member stated that he was in charge (he may have said president) of Hollywood Studios entertainment. This person was so beyond nice to my daughter, putting his arm around her and explaining he too was very sad to see the lights go. He then asked her which song was her favorite and called operations to replay that song again. It was close to closing and it was already out of the rotation for the night.
My daughter would really like to write him and thank him. I believe his name was Bob and our visit was the night of 11/27/15. If any has any idea of who this gentleman is and contact information, or point me in the direction of a list of Hollywood Studios park management it would make my daughters Holiday. I tried guest relations but they could only find a general correspondence address.
Thank you for reading my long-winded question. We really appreciate any help that anybody could provide.
Happy Holidays,
J Thompson
