Guest of Honor Badges.. Any perks?

I'm just curious about this. We leave for WDW Sunday night, and I bought my gf's daughter and her friend those Guest of Honor badges with their names on them. Are there any perks to wearing them? I know there would be nothing tangable, but do they ever get extra attention? Has anyone had any experience with this?

Nope, not really. Those wearing them will sometimes have the CMs call them by name, but that's about it. Or at a character signing, the character might put the badge wearers name in the autograph....like To Sue...Love Cinderella.

They are just fun to wear. CM's may call you by name. Sometimes tourists will think you are a cast member.

We had street performers at MGM ( they were guys that looked nerdy, driving around in somekind of weird car) calling, then YELLING my daughters name as they drove down the street. "Hey Ashton.. ASSSHHHTTOOON.. HEY ASHTON". She was completely embarassed, but the rest of us were hysterically laughing. My kids love when the CM's call them by their names.

They are fun, make you feel a little more special. We got quite a few personalized autographs. But any perks, nah.
