since sbp is on the way to epcot, how are the guests walking to epcot handled? has this been a problem for anyone? my ceremony starts at 10, so i'm thinking that when people are arriving at like 9:30ish, there will be a lot of guests walking to the parks...

I had my wedding at SBP about two weeks ago. I can tell you that you won't notice anyone walking past. I was so focused on my DH that I didn't even hear the string trio playing. We had seventy guests and it was like it was just the two of us and Reverend Jack up there. I didn't see or hear anyone else. We had a whole enterage of DFTW staff making sure our guests were seated and that no one walking by could come in.

To be quite honest with you, thats why I chose the Yacht Club Gazebo over SBP. My DFH and I went over there on the trip that he actually proposed to me on, and we decided that it would be too busy, and I really noticed alot of chipped paint.

Hope this helps,

I agree with autumnbride2B you really won't notice. DH and I went over the music for our ceremony so many times and when I walked in I didn't even hear it! I just saw DH standing there and only heard him and Rev. Jack. It's like you're in your own little world!

SBP was our second choice, for the same reason PrincessBrideKatie stated, we really wanted something as private as possible (but didn't like the WP) and when we saw WL Sunrise Terrace we knew that was the place for us to get married.

You've chosen a beautiful location in SBP and you won't even notice anyone else. Just enjoy your day :goodvibes

You won't hear anything from the traffic going by. The only thing you may notice is that the boat captains will blow the horn as they go by.

I agree with everyone already. We were married at SBP at 11 AM. During our ceremony I didn't notice anything. The DFTW staff did a great job keeping it private. It was fun to watch our DVD afterwards and see all that was going on around us since during our ceremony we were so focused on each other. I enjoyed all the congratulations from guests afterwards as we were getting our pictures taken around the resort!!!

The funny thing is that I am a TOTAL ham and I am of the opinion that if I paid so much for the damn dress and the damn ceremony I want as MANY people as possible to see me!!! That is why I chose SBP over the gazebo, the gazebo just seemed too private :rotfl: I want people to stop, and stare and oooo and aaaaahhh over me and realize that I am a friggin' princess!!! :bride:

:lmao: :lmao: :lmao: I love it! That sounds like me. I'm a theatre girl, so naturally, I'm an extrovert! Attention doesn't frighten me.

OTOH I totally understand the private ceremony thing too. It's a special day! You may not want a lot of nosey bodies around crashing your beautiful ceremony.:bride:

I have chosen SBP for our Celebration of 20 Years of Happily Ever After! I know it's going to be just beautiful.

Happy Planning everyone!

One of my favorite parts of being married at SBP was making the walk from the BWI to and from SBP. All the well wishes was awesome!
